- いちぼう【一望】¶小山の上からはその村が~できるYou can see the whole village from the top of the hill.* * *いちぼう【一望】a sweep of the eye.~する give a sweeping [panoramic] view 《of [over]…》.
●私は湾を一望する丘に登った. I climbed a hill giving a sweeping view over the whole bay.
●一望千里の沃野 a vast stretch of fertile plain
